Abstract:This is the 11th annual report produced under the Section 15 Uniform System of Accounts and Records and Reporting System. It summarizes the financial and operating data submitted to UMTA by 498 of the nation's transit operators for fiscal year ending on or between January 1, 1989 and December 31, 1989. This annual report consists of 3 chapters. Chapter 1 contains an introduction to the Section 15 reporting system and its relationship to the Section 9 program. Chapter 2 contains aggregate industry statistics derived from the complete Section 15 reports which were submitted. Chapter 3 contains financial and operating data on the individual transit systems that submitted complete Section 15 reports.
