Abstract:Twenty seven percent of passenger cars with

“Tire Pressure Special Study: Vehicle
Observation Data” is the third in a series of
research notes containing results from the
Tire Pressure Special Study (TPSS)
conducted by the National Highway Traffic
Safety Administration (NHTSA) in 2001.
The focus of this research note is on results
from the vehicle inspections and tire
