These are the Illinois highway statistics for the year 2000. The following categories are covered: population, licensed drivers, vehicles registered excluding motorcycles, passenger cars registered, annual vehicle miles of travel, annual gallons of fuel consumed, miles of highways and streets, highway structures greater than 20 feet, public railroad grade crossings, and private railroad grade crossings.
