Abstract:This paper: (1) describes current logistics practices as they are affected by truck size and weight limits; (2) examines how changes in truck size and weight limits might affect logistics practices; and (3) where possible, identifies research needed to close knowledge gaps regarding truck size and weight limits and how they affect logistics practices. The paper focuses on the shippers' perspectives.
