Abstract:Nationwide in 1993, traffic fatalities were up 2 percent. These tables provide summary data of fatal crashes for the United States and individually for the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico (not included in the national totals). These tables are based on data from NHTSA's Fatal Accident Reporting System (FARS). Figure 1: 1995 Traffic Fatalities by State and Percent Change from 1994.
