This report presents the findings of the petrographic examination of concrete cores extracted from two arches of the Bibb Graves Bridge in Wetumpka, Alabama. The evaluation mainly consisted of the Damage Rating Index (DRI), a method that provides a semiquantitative assessment of the damage in concrete based on a count of petrographic features of deterioration generally associated with alkali-silica reaction (ASR).
