The primary objective of this project was the development of a Noise Analysis Procedures manual for Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) incorporating best practices from Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and other states while addressing any GDOT specific procedures. The project consisted of three tasks – 1) Review of other state noise analysis guidance; 2) Development of GDOT Noise Analysis Procedures Manual; and 3) Development of a Frequently Asked Questions list addressing a number of repeating queries.
