Abstract:
The Crescent Project element of the HELP Program is a bi-national multi-jurisdictional cooperative research and demonstration initiative involving the public and private sectors in an application of advanced technologies for the creation of an integrated heavy vehicle management system. This initiative is a leading example of the commercial vehicle operations (CVO) aspect of the Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems (IVHS) concept.
