Abstract:

The primary objective of the ICM Initiative is to demonstrate how Intelligent Transportation ; System (ITS) technologies can efficiently and proactively facilitate the movement of people and goods through major transportation corridors that comprise a freeway, arterial street network, and bus and rail transit network. This report documents the Integrated Corridor Management System (ICMS) surveillance and detection requirements for arterial streets and transit networks to support an ICMS.
