• Abstract:
  This project was designed to provide easy-to-use census data formats in the specific geographies used by the MoDOT. The website developed as a result of this project provides up-to-date, authoritative data and information for use in transportation planning and project development. The Socio-Economic Indicator Resource Web Page makes data, maps, tables, charts and graphics and analysis available at the level of geography meaningful to MoDOT personnel. The project has been successful in increasing the use of census data in long-range and project planning, environmental clearance, and in providing a basis for Title VI, Environmental Justice and Limited English Proficiency applications related to department functions.
