Abstract:The purpose of the Transit Tracker evaluation is to collect and analyze data related to a change in bus riders’ behaviors and perceptions of service and security as a result of the Transit Tracker information displays. Four measures of effectiveness (MOEs) were selected to test the impact of the information on riders’ behaviors and perceptions: riders’ use of trip planning information; riders’ perceptions of system efficiency; riders’ perceptions of personal security; and riders’ overall satisfaction with the system.
