Abstract:

The transportation agencies along the I-95 corridor have historically collected static and real-time transportation and travel information focused primarily on their own states or regional state groupings. Access to this information on a corridor-wide basis has been limited, and was often not readily available for sharing between states. To address this problem, the I-95 Corridor Coalition (I-95 CC) funded a Field Operations Tests (FOT) to develop a corridor wide advanced traveler information system (ATIS).
