There were 5,034,297 licensed drivers, a 1.86 percent increase from 1999. There were 81,356,000,000 estimated vehicle miles traveled, a 2.38 percent increase from 1999. There were 6,313,411 registered vehicles, a 3.77 percent increase from 1999.
