The 2007 Pennsylvania Crash Facts and Statistics booklet is a report published by the Bureau of Highway Safety and Traffic Engineering, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Permission is given to freely copy and distribute this booklet and the information within it. This publication is a statistical review of reportable motor vehicle crashes in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for calendar year 2007. The figures are compiled from the traffic crash reports that are submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation by state, county, municipal, and other law enforcement agencies, as specified in the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code (75 Pa. C.S., Chapter 37, Subchapter C).
