Abstract:

SHRP2 provided implementation assistance to four pilots and one lead adopter to explore advanced integrated travel models. The four C10 pilots aimed to evaluate integrated activity-based travel demand models (ABM) and dynamic traffic assignment (DTA) models. These models have a fine-grained time and space resolution, and thus can be used to address pricing, management, and operations strategies for both highways and transit. The C04 lead adopter incorporated reliability and pricing into an existing planning model. This report summarizes the activities and results for the four C10 projects.
