Abstract:

This brochure gives an overview of the National Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Architecture. The objects of the program include: to aid in the purchase of compatible equipment and services; to guide multilevel efforts in implementing compatible nationwide systems; and, to accommodate multiple designs using diverse technologies while also helping agencies in achieving the benefits of interoperability.
