Abstract:This report documents the work completed by the Crash Avoidance Metrics Partners LLC (CAMP) Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) Consortium during the fourth year of the “Development of Vehicle-to-Infrastructure Applications (V2I) Program.” Participating companies in the V2I Consortium during this period were Ford, General Motors, Hyundai-Kia, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Volvo Truck, and VW/Audi. The period covered by the report is from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018. The overall goal of the V2I Program is to develop and test V2I safety, mobility, environmental and automation applications as part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Strategic Plan. Projects active during the reporting period were Vehicle-to-Infrastructure Safety Applications and Traffic Optimization for Signalized Corridors. This report provides a summary of key project activities and accomplishments for the period.
