Abstract:

Ada County was chosen to be a part of the national Operational Test for Intelligent ; Transportation Systems (ITS). ITS applies new technologies and concepts to improve ; transportation systems, efficiency, mobility, energy and environmental impacts, and create a ; viable industry. During the week of April 23-29, 1995, two individual ITS tests were conducted in Ada County. These two tests were part of a three-phase operational test. The third phase is ; discussed in a separate Evaluation Test Plan Report.
