Abstract:

This is the fourth in a series of reports documenting AIRPOL-4, the Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation line-source model for predicting carbon monoxide concentrations within the microscale environments of highways. The purpose of this report is to present the detailed data and methods involved in the analysis and comparative evaluation of AIRPOL-4. The fifth report in this series will detail the algorithmic development and operation of the AIRPOL-4 computer program.
