This pamphlet is one in a series by Aviation Education Program of the Federal Aviation Administration's Office of Public Affairs designed to inform and interest young people in careers in the aviation field. To keep the planes flying, the industry relies on aviation maintenance technicians (including airframe and powerplant technicians, avionics technicians, and instrument repairmen). This pamphlet discusses the type of work done by aviation maintenance technicians and the three possible paths to obtaining a career in the area. 10p.
