• Abstract:
  As required by Federal Aviation Administration Order 8110.4C, “Type Certification Process”, the Volpe Center Acoustics Facility (Volpe), in support of the Federal Aviation Administration Office of Environment and Energy (AEE), has completed validation of the procedures used by Gulfstream Aerospace (Gulfstream), for processing of certification noise levels in accordance with Federal Regulation Title 14 part 36, Amendment 30 (Part 36). The validation of Gulfstream’s process was initiated by the applicant after voluntary changes to their software, and subsequent conversion of the software to a different development environment.
