• Abstract:
  This report presents the results of efforts to audit the financial statements of the District of Columbia Highway Trust Fund for the 14-month period ended September 30, 1996, and to examine the 5-year forecast statements of the Fund's expected conditions and operations. These financial statements and the 5-year forecast statements are the responsibility of the District's Chief Financial Officer, the administrator of the Fund. This report also presents the results of our efforts to evaluate the Fund's internal controls as of September 30, 1996, and its compliance with laws and regulations during that 14-month period.
