Abstract:Established August 11, 2005, The TPPC serves the broad range of needs of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), and other agencies within the highway community by promoting awareness of pavement preservation as a feasible and practical maintenance strategy, providing training in preservation methods, operating as a source of knowledge for new techniques and procedures in this area, and supporting a long-term pavement performance approach. The TPPC has been actively involved in promoting awareness of pavement preservation methods at the state, national, and international levels for the past four years, which the following summary of TPPC projects and activities should serve to clearly demonstrate.
