Abstract:

For more than 50 years, the mission of the National Technical Information Service has been to collect and disseminate information produced by the U.S. government and worldwide sources to increase U.S. competitiveness in the global economy. NTIS collects scientific, technical, engineering, and business related information-then organizes, maintains, and disseminates that information in a variety of forms and formats most useful to its customers. Today, NTIS does more than collecting, archiving, and disseminating information. NTIS offers federal agencies a multitude of support services as well as offering your constituents many different access points to information.
