  This following report summarizes the results of the New York State Department of
  
  Transportation (NYSDOT) State Planning and Research (SPR) research peer exchange held in
  
  Albany, New York, on September 23-24, 2015. Managers and staff from NYSDOT’s Transportation
  
  Research and Development Bureau (TRDB) of the Engineering Division and the Research and
  
  Policy Studies Section (RPSS) of the Policy and Planning Division hosted this peer exchange,
  
  which focused on the skills, training, experience and expertise needed to create and manage an
  
  effective SPR research program to effectively deliver research, development, and technology
