Abstract:

University of Florida researchers studied the possible

impact of recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) used in

roadway base layers on the acid/base balance of the

subsurface environment. They also examined a related

issue: management of concrete grinding residuals that

result from grooving and grinding operations on Portland

cement concrete pavements.
