To carry out the project tasks, ; information and data were collected from the US EPA, US Coast Guard, National Ballast Information ; Clearinghouse, Tugboat Enthusiasts Society of the American, and the Research and Innovative Technology ; Administration and analyzed. Meetings of the project stakeholders committee were held and key issues ; discussed. The findings related to the new requirements of the 2013 VGP, ballast water and non-ballast water ; discharge limitations, administrative report changes, as well as issues concerning black water discharges are ; discussed in detail and recommendations made for compliance.
