• Abstract:
  The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Statistical Summaries provide information about the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) financial investment programs funded through ARRA. This report covers the Urbanized Area Formula Program and the Non-Urbanized Area Formula and Capital Program. The Capital Program is further broken into two components: Fixed Guideway Modernization and New Starts. Also included are the Transit Investments for Greenhouse Gas and Energy Reduction (TIGGER) program and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Surface Transportation Program (STP), a portion of whose funds were transferred to FTA. The data used in this report are compiled from the ARRA grants that were awarded to transit authorities, states, local governments, and other eligible recipients.
