The Standards Requirements Document (“SRD”) collects information from the other National ITS Architecture program documents and reorganizes it in a manner intended to support the development of critical ITS standards. The key results in the SRD are a reference model for the National ITS Architecture, a rating scheme for evaluating the standardization issues associated with individual data flows that make up the architecture interfaces, and then a set of priority groupings of interfaces into standards requirements "packages".
