Abstract:

Cab1eSafety System (CASS™).is being tested by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) along I-35 in McClain County. CASS™ will be compare with two other system approve by ODOT. Using C-shaped post tensioned cables, CASS™ is designed to assist in preventing head-on collisions by capturing and redirecting errant vehicles that would otherwise traverse the median of a roadway.
