Abstract:Products approved for use in Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) projects can be found on the Qualified Products List (QPL). But how do items get on the list? How are they classified as Conditional Use versus Qualified?
ODOT’s Product Evaluation Committee reviews hundreds of products for inclusion on the QPL. Mike Dunning, Product Evaluation Coordinator, chairs the committee. The committee consists of a representative group from many highway construction specialties around the state.
