This study took the analysis of Portland cement concrete air content. Based on the information gathered, this study hold the results were : 1) air-entrained concrete was more durable than non-air entrained concrete all other factors being equal; 2) Air entraining did not improve durability of the affects of the mortar paste and ; 3) There was limited evidence to relate air content directly to reductions in service life or increase in maintenance cost. No adjustment in air content for climatological region or geographical area was recommended.
