Abstract:

The extent and duration of pollution from herbicide spills and deliberate applications is related to properties of the herbicide and soil. Objectives of this study included the development of experimental procedures and mathematical models to determine the sorption, transport, and biodegradation rates of a herbicide in soil using adapted microorganisms.
