  The current paper provides a discussion of the technologies available to collect/transmit process and disseminate the needed data in order to meet the needs of the Buffalo ITS data sources, system users and their needs. The technologies which could be used in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) are discussed, evaluated and recommendations are made.
