This report is a collection of various studies, conducted over 15 years, of flotation and survival equipment used or proposed for aviation application, including developmental and prototype designs. Results of these studies were presented at scientific meetings and/or published in preprints or proceedings with limited distribution. Information obtained from several of the included studies is being used in the development of revised flotation equipment standards.
