The WSDOT Public Transportation Division Director requested a synthesis report on the role of state departments of transportation in climate change initiatives. A search of available information has revealed a host of measures underway to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of the transportation sector. This report is a detailed summary of current initiatives, including a state-by-state breakdown.
