• Abstract:
  This is a performance evaluation report for A-Jacks, an articulated concrete block designed to protect bridge elements exposed to the river scouring forces, and for Aquawrap, a glass fiber reinforced polymer designed to protect and strengthen bridge elements. The materials and methods were installed more than five years ago to protect the Colorado River Bridge at Moab, Utah and the Green River Bridge at Green River, Utah from further scour and abrasion damage. The uses of proprietary materials were allowed as an "Experimental Feature" in accordance with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Guidelines. This report includes the description of performance measures, data acquisition, data, data analysis, conclusions and recommendations
