This book provides a guide for communities interested in reducing traffic accidents. The book serves four main purposes: (1) to show the importance of traffic accidents in the average community; (2) to determine the educational activities that have been most effective in reducing accidents; (3) to show the relationship that should exist between engineering, enforcement and educational activities in the community; and (4) to serve as a guide to towns and cities in organizing and projecting a well-rounded program.
