The participant notebook was developed to proved a document that contains the visual aids for the participants as covered in the workshop of DP 105, Advanced Transportation Management Technologies. It contains the relevent information of the metropolitan intelligent transportation infrastructure elements as well as techniques/strategies and technologies of each component. The workshop is designed to provide participants with the following: technology transfer on the state-of-the-practice transportation management techniques/technologies to improve mobility and safety; an awareness of the significant role of these management technologies in improving mobility and safety; and hands-on demonstrations on the state-of-the-practice hardware and software in transportation management technologies.
