  The primary objectives of this study were to determine a recommendation for the pre-blast area for surveys, and to obtain actual field vibrations from rock blasting operations, in populated regions within specific geologic units. The area confined within a pre- and post-construction survey covers a region where vibrations or vibration induced settlements have the potential to cause real structural damage as well as perceived damage from residents. /Abstract from report summary page/
