Time-domain reflectometry is useful for measuring the moisture content of solids. However, little information exists on its use with portland cement concrete. By monitoring the response from TDR sensors embedded in concrete as the concrete dried, the authors developed a second-order polynomial equation that relates dielectric constant to moisture content. The study is valid for the specific concrete studied.
