  Working paper evaluates the implemented public 911 and private non-911 cellular ; based emergency centers around the country, and within the ; Gary-Chicago-Milwaukee (GCM) Corridor and documents the impact, implications and ; experiences of switching from a non-911 based cellular emergency system to a ; regional public 911 number, by summarizing the results of the questionnaire used ; to evaluate the implemented private and public emergency command centers and to ; aid in the development and design of the GCM Corridor architecture and the ; Gateway Transportation Information System.
