This document summarizes key highlights from the National Park Service (NPS) 2013 National Transit Inventory, and presents data for NPS transit systems system-wide. The document discusses statistics related to ridership, business models, fleet characteristics, funding sources, and other categories. Key findings include:

-26.9 million total passenger boardings in 2013

-64% of NPS transit systems operate under concession contracts

-60% of NPS-owned vehicles operate on alternative fuel
