Abstract:

The intent of this study is to obtain information on small high-speed engines so that their effect on the urban environment may be assessed, and if necessary, programs devised to reduce the noise and other emissions from vehicles using these "highly desirable and efficient power plants." This work was performed by Calspan and subcontracted to Ricardo Consulting Engineers, Ltd.
