Abstract:The Federal Radionavigation Plan (FRP) delineates policies and plans for radionavigation services provided by the U.S. Government. Developed jointly by the U.S. Departments of Defense and Transportation, the FRP sets forth the Federal interagency approach to the implementation and operation of radionavigation systems. Updated bienially, this edition describes respective areas of authority and responsibility, and provides a management structure for individual operating agencies. Additionally, this edition contains the current policy on the radionavigation systems mix.
