The analyses of the effects of Year-Round Daylight Saving Time were not conslusive because they could not be reliablyseparated from other changes occuring simultaneously including fuel availability constraints, speed limit reductions, Sunday gasoline stations closing etc. However, there were indications of : some electricity savings; slight increase in gasoline use; ambiguous effects on traffic safety and school children safety; adverse effects for some radio stations; and widespread popularity for daylight savings in the summer but not the winter months.
