Abstract:

HWINPUT is a VNTSC-developed user friendly program written in ; Microsoft Fortran version 4.01 for the IBM PC/AT. This program ; is an integral part of the Federal Highway Administration's ; Mobile Noise Data Gathering and Analysis Laboratory and is used ; to collect acoustic data from up to eight Cetec Ivie IE-30A ; measuring systems in intervals as short as 1/8 of a second. ; The 1/3 octave and A-weight sound pressure level (SPL) data is ; collected and stored on disk for later off-line processing ; using the companion program, HWNOISE.
