Abstract:

HWNOISE is a VNTSC-developed user friendly program written in

Microsoft Fortran version 4.01 for the IBM PC/AT and

compatibles to analyze acoustic data. This program is an

integral part of the Federal Highway Administration's Mobile

Noise Data Gathering and Analysis Laboratory and is used to

process acoustic data collected from up to eight Cetec Ivie IE-

30A measuring systems utilizing the companion program, HWINPUT.

Processed data, including selected noise level indices can be

displayed in both tabular and graphical form.
