Abstract:

This report reviews the Integrated Noise Mode (INM) general methodlogy for determining the nearest segment and the transition algorithms, gives examples of anomalous errors associated with the current methodology and provides recommendations for changes to the methodology so that these errors are minimized. It also examines the special case of the noise at the beginning of takeoff roll, and provides new noise data and recommended algorithms for improving the description of this special situation.
