Abstract:

This document is a functional description of Version 5.0 of the Enhanced Traffic

Management System (ETMS). The ETMSis an automation system for supporting the

strategic management of air traffic. The ETMS is being developed and maintained in

conjunction with the Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS), a research and

development program to explore new concepts in traffic management systems.
